My face is very dry so every time that I do or do not put makeup on worse with makeup on my face is flaky. Anyone have any good moisturizers or something I should use under my foundation to stop my face from being flaky?
You need to exfoliate first, in other words, use a scrub! You might be using a face wash that’s drying out your skin too much. Are you using something for acne, or do you live in a cold climate?
Will help out with dr skin the best recommendation I can make on face scrubs is 7day exfoliate by Clinique. If you ever have a chance tell them you want a facial to try out there 3 step. If they say you need of products first don’t believe them because they are not suppose to do that.
Are there certain spots where your face gets super dry? Use eyecream on those spots. Since getting pregnant, my face gets so dry around my nose and mouth, so I just use some eye cream around those spot and a normal moisturizer everywhere else. You can also use a night moisturizer instead and use that over your whole face. You can exfoliate all you want, but if you aren’t moisturizing and keeping the skin moist, it will keep flaking.
Check out this website: www.arbonnefc5.com, It is a brand new skin care line that was advertised in Allure magazine last month. They are the first ones in North America to have this formulation. They take the cells from 5 fruits and vegetables and encapsulated them until they reach your skin where the nutrients are released.
They are fresh and potent because they had been encapsulated. You can get the set for Normal/Dry skin which contains a Hydrating Cleanser and Freshener in one, a Nurturing Day Lotion with SPF 20 and a Moisturizing Night Creme. These products hydrates the skin and helps keep it looking more youthful and radiant .
They also have a 45 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied. I am a consultant for Arbonne International, so if you are interested in the set or just one of the products, please let me know.
I see most of the flaking on my forehead and cheeks. I use face scrub not sure at the moment what kind but I will try to exfoliate and then put moisturizer on and see what that does. Thanks again.
