Good But Cheap Mineral Foundation

By | November 26, 2014

ArbonneI want to first say please don’t try to sell me your product. I want serious answers please. I am trying to find mineral foundation that is as good but maybe less expensive than what I’m using now. I’ve been using Arbonne for the past two years, and it’s the best I’ve ever used as far as coverage and long-lasting.

I just want to be able to go to the store and purchase the makeup I want rather than have to order it online, and I would like to find something a little cheaper. The ID Bare Minerals is okay, but it’s not quite as good and costs pretty much the same. Anyone know of any that compares to what I’m using now? It seems like every time I ask, someone wants to sell me what they have even if it really isn’t as good. I just want real answers. Thanks in advance.

Answers:

Micabella

So far, I’m very happy with Micabella, but it’s really expensive and Signatureminerals.com I haven’t bought a full size yet because I’m still trying to find my right color foundation, but they are very very affordable and very good stuff…You can get a free trial set with six different things and pay just shipping…so $5 for me, and it’s enough to last you at least two weeks if you wear it everyday.

I use MineralFace FX. My best friend uses Mary Kay.

Why Change?

Is there a particular reason you are wanting to switch? Are you looking for something cheaper or something more natural? I would be happy to post a list of ingredients of the major companies that manufacture mineral makeup. The main ingredients I recommend looking for is: Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Mica, and Iron Oxides. Some companies will use Kaolin Clay to help absorb oil. Another popular ingredient is Ultramarine Blue and is used to get a lot of popular blue colors, but is not approved to be used on the lips. I really don’t have any recommendations for any you can go into the store and buy, but you could take a look at the list and see which ones you might be interested in.

Yes. I mentioned in my post that I’m looking for something that is less expensive but also one that I can just go to the store and get rather than order and wait for it to get here (because I always forget to order until the last minute LOL).

I’m not at all interested in purchasing from a MLM company. I can do that with what I have now. I want to be able to walk into a store and purchase what I need if possible.

MineralFace FX

I believe the major makeup companies make mineral makeup. You should be able to find something in the store. Me personally I would rather know what I am buying and putting on my face. Which is why I use MineralFace FX, not only do I know the ingredients, but I am also supporting another mom who works her tail off to make a great product. Yes, I have to order it, but she is speedy, and she is right here on CM, so in a way it is convenient.

Exactly! And you get great coverage, a little goes along way, the list goes on and on!

MineralPower Foundation

What you can do is check out some reviews on products like MineralPower Foundation from Maybelline, I believe that L’Oreal also has one as does Covergirl. If you’re looking to go to the store and purchase it, I would definitely check out the reviews on the products to see what other women have to say about them along with the pricing. You can probably ask some of the gals in here, I’m sure they’ve tried the foundations as well.

I’ve used her, and she is amazing to work with. However, I didn’t get the coverage I get with what I’m currently using, and it was a little more expensive. She is amazing, though, and she will do anything that you need.

Well, I am guessing if you wanna go with just a store bought kind, your coverage isn’t going to be what you are looking for either. So I would guess you might just want to stick with what is working for you?
